When neither mom nor dad want to play with her, Karusia goes to the seashore and talks with the Sand Wolf. He always has time for her and wants to do interesting things.
The Sand Wolf has a shiny, sand-colored fur and has been around the world forever. She tells breathtaking things and explains to Karusi the riddles of the world around her. For example, that the universe is endless, or that bruises are medals you get for courage. Or that dad cannot come to take a bath with Karusia in the sea because the newspaper he is reading has hypnotized his eyes. The Sand Wolf can convince Karusia that he does not need to be afraid of the dark or monsters.

A world on the verge of reality and children's fantasy. The author is very aware of the language, she tastes it and plays with it just like children do. The book consists of several separate chapters and is perfect for reading aloud, for example as a bedtime story.
