Soap dish made of Brazilian quartzite - azul macaubas.  

This quartzite is estimated to be around 1.2 billion years old. The mining sites are located west of Macaúbas and Boquira in the Serra da Vereda region (Bahia state). The entire field is 30 kilometers long.

The soap dishes have been impregnated, but in the beginning the soap may have a tendency to stick to the bottom of the soap dish.
