From the beginning, Kitpas has been manufacturing crayons using a non-toxic wax typically used for lipsticks, candles and fruit preservation to keep toddlers and kids of all ages safe! Kitpas are now made with pure food-grade rice bran wax made from Japanese rice.

The crayons do not contain petroleum.

Recycling rice bran wax as our material helps eliminate food waste as rice bran is usually discarded after the rice is milled.

The melting of rice wax produces less heat than paraffin wax during production, which provides a more comfortable environment for factory workers.
