Why do people kiss? Is it bad to have your period? Can you not mature? Is sex fun? Can a baby in the belly fart? What is a caesarean section? Are babies born after every sex?

IN   Answer me!   Katharina von der Gathen, a German sex educator, collected questions that were asked by primary school students during her workshops. And she answered all of them – reliable, but not devoid of a sense of humor and adapted to children's sensitivity. And Anke Kuhl completed the whole thing with funny and thought-provoking illustrations.

Sexuality is a sensitive topic. Talking about it can be embarrassing, sometimes controversial and provokes arguments, so it is often avoided. Especially in conversations with children, who ask their parents questions also about this aspect of life. As adults, we should not leave them unanswered, even if it seems to us a huge challenge to openly address certain issues. In such situations, a book can be extremely helpful, in which a child will find an explanation of their doubts, and an adult - a starting point for further conversation.  
We discussed the book and the translation a lot, thought for a long time about the choice of certain words and the way of presenting certain issues, we did not agree on everything. However, we believe that books like this are simply necessary.
