The formulas are also supplemented with extracts of ginkgo biloba, aloe, marigold flower and oats, which help moisturize and rebuild the skin, while leaving a beautiful scent.

Vallée de Farney is a nature reserve located in the native forests of the island of Mauritius. The forest is home to over 100 species of plants and many animals, and Louis Marie discovered many new plant specimens. Inspired by the wild forest, this fragrance is a woody, mineral fragrance. The top note is a citrus accord of grapefruit, orange and black pepper enhanced by cedar wood and patchouli.

Maison Louis Marie is the result of a long, rich family history in fragrance, starting with Louis Marie Aubert du Petit Thouars: a pioneer of French botanical history who was exiled to Madagascar, La Réunion and the islands of Mauritius during the French Revolution. There he discovered a wide range of plant specimens, collected over 2,000, and was then elected a member of the prestigious Académie des Sciences - the engravings and sketches visible on the fragrance packaging come from his journals.

Over 200 years later, Maison Louis Marie was born: drawing on her family's rich botanical history as inspiration and guide, Marie created luxury candles, perfumes and skincare products that focus on exquisite, long-lasting fragrances infused with unique flower essences.
