Another after   Lotta   a novel by Zofia Stanecka with a dog hero in the lead role

Where does the name Bastard come from? From a song by Kabaret Starszych Panów   We're cheap bastards . A strong name, reflecting the strength of the dachshund's spirit. Because anyone who has lived with a dachshund under one roof knows that these are dogs that cannot be ignored. The bastard, also known as Dranisław or Draniuszek, entered the life of Zosia's family at a particularly difficult time - right after the martial law of 1981. He was then a small dumpling puppy, but almost immediately filled the house and the hearts of all inhabitants with his personality. He became a comforter in hardships and a companion in joys and sorrows. He was a bully, but also a fearless, faithful friend. He carried a steadfast character in his small body. He barked his bass, had his own opinion on everything, and loved it in his own way. He was a dog that is not only loved, but also respected. The story about Danie takes the reader back to the 1980s. It tells about friendship - human and dog. It shows that even in the most difficult times, dachshund love is like a cup of warm tea on a frosty day.   The bastard is a real figure. The first, long-awaited dog of the author, her faithful friend from primary school times. And we all know that the first dog is like the first love - it is never forgotten!
