In 2017, Miś Uszatek celebrates its 60th birthday! On this occasion, we decided to prepare a special edition of his adventures, containing the three most popular volumes of stories with a complete set of illustrations. The character of Miś Uszatek first appeared in stories published in the "Miś" magazine for children. The name of Uszatek was given by children as a result of a competition, and the character was created by the writer Czesław Janczarski and the illustrator Zbigniew Rychlicki. The first book about his adventures was published in 1960 under the title "Adventures and wanderings of Misia Uszatka". Four more volumes were published in the following years. However, this was only the beginning of the teddy bear's popularity. In 1975, Semafor began producing a puppet series, which by 1987 had already 104 episodes and turned out to be a real hit. Kindergartens and clubs were called after Miś, books were translated into foreign languages, he was the protagonist of radio and TV programs in Poland and around the world.
