The Mad Hatter, the March Hare, the Cheshire Cat, Mr. Caterpillar ... - everyone knows these heroes of one of the most popular books in the world. Full of allusions and linguistic games, the work is a great challenge for translators. Eleven of them have so far taken their Polish language. This edition is based on an outstanding translation by Maciej Słomczyński, supplemented with extraordinary illustrations by Tove Jansson, the creator of the Moomins. There has not been such a combination yet, so it is a real treat for lovers of good and beautiful books!

This is probably the only case in the history of literature where one text contains two completely different books: one for children and the other for very adults. "Alice" for children is a story full of extraordinary adventures, amazing heroes, funny poems and sudden twists, completely understandable and accepted in the kingdom of fairy tales.
