A witty casket story by a master of Czech humor and a Czech master of illustration.
One day, the mother of Petrzik and Petruszka took a deep breath and said:
- Don't be angry, Dad, but I also go to work, and besides, I wash, iron, neck, cook, wash dishes, dust the dust, vacuum carpets, take Petrzik to kindergarten, go shopping and go to parent-school meetings, lubricate my machine for sewing, I clean my shoes, I wear coats to the laundry and pick them up from there, and I don't even have time to go to the hairdresser to please you, and I think you could take over my bedtime story, what do you say?
But will dad, who was born in the most prosaic district of Prague, be able to come up with a fairy tale as good as the ones that mom comes up with?
See for yourself!
