“Chinese tobacco is inspired by the timeless masterpiece of the Apocalypse by Francis Ford Coppola. The action of the film takes place in Vietnam in 1969. The main influence on the smell was the powerful scene with opium smokers Aurore Clement and Martin Sheen. Classic line "I love the smell of napalm in the morning". The title of the film was inspired by a badge popular with hippies in the 1960s saying Nirvana now.

The different colors symbolize the rainbow, which in 1969 was a symbol of peace and freedom.
